This commission from Anna was to transform her grandfather's wedding band into a brooch to give to her father. Initially she wanted to melt the ring and recycle the gold, but we decided to leave the band intact and build around it.The piece is composed of this wedding band representing her parents, a glass for her eldest son and the diamond for her young daughter, all united by lines: the family bonds that he and his wife have built throughout their lives.
